I've spent the morning searching Etsy, looking for inspiration for a friend's upcoming baby shower. I like to make baby gifts myself and always find great ideas on the internet. Here are a few of my favorites:
Thanks to the amazing properties of wool, these hand knit wool slippers are perfect for babies year round. They'll keep little feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Easily the cutest and safest looking teether I have ever seen.
This cute wet bag definitely tops our throw-it-in-a-grocery-bag method for dirty cloth diapers!

Obviously not a great shower gift, but so cute for after baby arrives.

A little local love - everything Silk Oak makes is adorable.

Yeah, the wipes you gave me have already replaced the disposable ones, even though I still have several packages of the disposable ones left. Those disposable ones are always too dry. What's up with that? If I have to go into the bathroom to wet the disposable one, I might as well use actual cloth.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the point is they were a good gift. Two thumbs up.
I know what you mean about the wipes being too dry. We actually have some "disposable" wipes that we keep washing and re-using along with some cloth ones.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're using and liking them. The making couldn't have been any easier. How's the diapering going?
Good. He's kind of in-between things at the moment, so the prefolds we have are still too big, the folded birds-eyes are starting to get a little too small. But the fancy ones I got at the shower kind of fit him now, and the velcro is certainly a nice change from the snaps on the other covers sometimes.
